WWI 4th ID Patch and Dog Tag Group: Eugene Lawson (1891-1975) was an Illinois WWI Veteran that served in 8th and 13th Field Artillery in France. Enlisted in June 1917 as a Private achieving the rank of Sgt. prior to discharge in August of 1919. He became some form of chemical engineer or scientist after the war, living most of his life in the Chicago Area.
Three Outstanding Patches and his Original set of Dog Tags. The three patches were purchased together with the dog tags and are all great original variations, two with the Army of Occupation "A" (Third Army) Device in the center. These are most likely all German Occupation Theater Made patches. This is a group that will be sold together, as it came, with research copies of some of Lawson's service records that I have compiled. There is some light mothing on the patches, but solid and outstanding examples. (SOLD)

WWII CBI Theatre Made Patch: Nice embroidered Sun and Star on wool field, with multi-piece sewn twill stripes. This China Burma India shoulder sleeve insignia has period snaps on back for easy uniform cleaning. Excellent condition, with only slight signs of age. ($15) View
