Original 1960's production LoM Legionaire. Bronze Gilt strike on
UnMarked Crimp Brooch, with Diamond (Williams and Anderson) hallmark,
and nicely watered ribbon.
All original components, and Near-Mint condition. A hard to find example, and of much better quality
that the currently produced medals.

Outstanding Early WWII Numbered & Cased AAF Distinguished Flying Cross:
Numbered strike "8491", on a
slot brooch, in a Wood Framed WWII Period Black Titled Case, Complete with RB/LP.
This has the distinctive deep blue color in ribbon, and golden finish to
planchet, of the early numbered strikes. Near-MINT Condition Medal,
RB & LP, with only minor signs of age and minor storage marks to case.

slot brooch, in a WWII Period Black Titled Case, Complete with RB/LP and
Original tissue wrapping. This comes from late WWII
manufactured stock that was used into early Vietnam era by the Quartermaster for

Nice clean strike, on an UnMarked crimp
brooch. Near-Mint condition, with some minor oxidation and storage marks.
This has a Gilded Matte finish with burnished highlights. The USCG equivalent
of the Army's Soldier's Medal/USN-USMC Navy & MC Medal/or Air force Airman's
Medal for Non-Combat Heroism, and a tough medal to find.

Slot in Crimp Brooch. Officially Machine Engraved to "Blake C. /
Howard, Jr. ". Mint condition, in Clear Lid/Blue Lined Issue Case
from when the Commendation Medals for all branches were first manufactured and
issued in the early 1950's. Apparently Howard was also issued a Russian
Decoration for an action where his ship was sunk on a Murmansk run. (Currently in
Research)

Gold Lifesaving Medal:
Mint
Condition strike, on UnMarked Crimp Brooch. Well made, most likely in the
late 50's or early 60's. A rare U.S. Treasury Department
Award.

Silver Lifesaving Medal:
Mint
Condition strike, on LI-G1 (Lordship Industries) Marked Crimp Brooch. A
more current strike, most likely done in the 80's. An UnCommon U.S.
Treasury Department Award.
