Early WWII Numbered Army Good Conduct Medal: Nice early strike, numbered "32876", EF Condition. Nice Named WWII USCG Good Conduct Medal and DTs: Officially Hand Engraved United States Coast Guard GC to "Albert E. / Stephens / 2-9-45 / CG Unit 80". Unit 80 was a Construction Detachment that was setting up LORAN (Air Navigational) Stations in the Pacific Islands. Includes an Original set of Sterling Silver Dog Tags, dated 1942. Nice clean early strike, with crisp detail, and all original components including the "U.S. Coast Guard" pin back brooch. History of USCG WWII Loran Chains & Unit 80. EF+ condition all around.
Crisp 1950's USCG Good Conduct Medal: Nice example of the revised style of U.S. Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal without the top bar. This was done somewhere in the Mid to Late 1950's, prior to the 1960's contracts with hallmarks on edges of medals and on brooches. Clean crisp UnMarked strike with a nice matte finish planchet on a crimp brooch. All original components.
