Military Order of Surgeons MINI Medal BB&B: MINT Condition Military Order of Surgeons MINI Medal in the Original Bailey Banks & Biddle Box.  Medal is hallmarked "BRONZE" & "BB&B", with all original fittings, including the tissue medal was wrapped in on delivery from BB&B.  Slot Brooch with early drop in pin catch, and High Quality enamel work.  This insignia was most likely manufactured in the 1930's-1940's.  Boxed dimensions are approximately 2.75" by 1".  This is a very nice U.S. Society Badge, made by one of the best medal smiths and jewelers in the country.  The Society was founded in 1891, and is currently known as The Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS). ($35)
