Outstanding WWI 120th Machine Gun Battalion, 32nd Division WIA PH Group:  Private Fred G. Kohn served with Company C, 120th MGB,  32nd Infantry Division, A.E.F.   He was Wounded In Action on August 1, 1918 and October 8, 1918.  Officially Hand Engraved Purple Heart, Numbered "66866".  Metal Arts Co. Contract PH with Oak Leaf Cluster, with Hand Sewn RB w/OLC.  Also comes with Original 3-Bar Victory Medal, Silver Discharge (Wound) Button, and Original Documents including: "Onion Skin" Transmittal for PH, Original and Early Photostat Discharge Doc.  With copy of St. Louis Award Card (AGO Card).  (Inquire)

WWI 103rd Infantry, 26th Division WIA PH:  Private William W. Hachez served with Company D, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry (Yankee) Division, A.E.F.   He was Wounded In Action on May 10, 1918.  Officially Hand Engraved Purple Heart, "William W. Hachez", Numbered "27315", in Excellent Condition, with All Original components, and in the Matching Numbered Bottom Half of the BB&B Box.  Includes the Original BB&B made Ribbon Bar and BB&B Marked Lapel Button that were issued with the medal.  Very Minor signs of wear and age.  BB&B Bailey, Banks, and Biddle Contract Medal.  Pvt. Hachez was originally from Maine, and was part of the 2nd Maine Infantry N.G., that was redesignated as the 103rd IR and attached to the 26th ID in August of 1917.  An outstanding item, from one of the most active U.S. Combat Divisions of the First World War.  Comes with copy of St. Louis Award Card, and some additional research. WWI 108th Infantry, 27th Division WIA PH:  Private 1st Class Lewis Nester served with Company F, 108th Infantry Regiment,  27th Infantry (NY) Division, A.E.F.   He was Wounded In Action on September 29, 1918.  Officially Hand Engraved Purple Heart, Numbered "32956".  Comes with copy of St. Louis Award Card (AGO Card).  (Inquire)

WWI 2nd Engineers, 2nd Division WIA PH:  Corp. Joseph W. Paulucci served with Company C, 2nd Combat Engineers Regiment,  2nd Infantry Division, A.E.F.   He was Wounded In Action on July 18, 1918.  Officially Hand Engraved Purple Heart, Numbered "44916".  Comes with Orig. Late Issue WWI 359th Infantry, 90th Division WIA PH:  Sergeant John T. Weir served with Company G, 359th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division, A.E.F.   He was Wounded In Action on September 9, 1918.  Officially Hand Engraved Purple Heart, UnNumbered WWII Style Slot Brooch PH in Black Titled Case.  This was a late issue, awarded in 1947, and Correct in all details.  Comes with copy of St. Louis Award Card (AGO Card).  (Inquire)

WWI 148th Infantry, 37th Division WIA PH:  Private Thomas N.G. Johnson served with Company E, 148th Infantry Regiment,  37th Infantry (Ohio) Division, A.E.F.   He was Wounded In Action on October 31, 1918 in the major assault of the Ypres-Lys Offensive.  Officially Hand Engraved Purple Heart, Numbered "3026", in Very Good Original Condition, with All Original components.  Signs of wear and age, but very solid and a nice old patina showing the veteran was proud to wear this medal.  This is the original low number PH he received in 1932.  Early BB&B (Bailey, Banks, and Biddle) Contract Medal.  Comes with copy of St. Louis Award Card.  (Inquire)

United States Marine Corps

Guadalcanal WIA Marine Corps Purple Heart Medal:  MINT Condition All Original Sterling Type 1 USMC PH, Officially Hand Engraved "Pvt. / Paul S. Kizlaitis / USMCR." on Gilt Split Wrap Brooch, in Clean WWII Purple Case.  Private Kizlaitis was from Grand Rapids MI, and was with HQ Co., 1st Bn., 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division.  He was wounded just prior to November 9th, 1942 as that was the day of evacuation from the island.  Officially Engraved WIA Hearts are fairly rare, as they stopped doing WIA Engravings shortly after the Guadalcanal Campaign due to growing need for the priority Posthumous Awards.  Research Pending.  All in Mint, clean solid condition. Posthumous U.S. Naval Aviation Purple Heart/Good Conduct/Campaign Medal Group:  Original Type 3 USN PH (Slot Brooch), Officially and Beautifully Hand Engraved "Kenneth C. / Hawkins / AMM3c, / USN" in WWII Type II Short Titled Case.  Original Impressed Naming USN Good Conduct Medal to "Kenneth / C. / Hawkins" in the Traditional UnDated form for a posthumous award, on correct Slot Brooch.  American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal, and WWII Victory Medal all in Original Titled Envelopes as issued to the family.  All items are in Mint to Near Mint Condition, with a small bit of oxidation to reverse of GC, and Minor but typical signs of age and oxidation to the campaign medals.  The PH is in Mint Condition.  Aviation Machinist Mate 3rd Class Hawkins was was most likely a Carrier Based "Second Seater" in a Navy Fighter Bomber, and was lost on January 21, 1944.   Further Research is pending. Posthumous Invasion of the Philippines U.S. Navy Purple Heart Medal:  Original Sterling Type 1 USN PH, Officially and Beautifully Hand Engraved with the typical flourishes "Harry H. / Lakeman / SK1c / USNR." on Gilt Split Wrap Brooch, in Clean WWII Purple Case.  All in Excellent, clean solid condition, with minor signs of age and oxidation.  Store Keeper 1st Class Lakeman was KIA on an LSM in October of 1944 by a Japanese Artillery round while supporting the invasion of Leyte.  Excellent Copy Research included. Posthumous Atlantic U.S. Navy Armed Guard Purple Heart Medal with Certificate & Accolade:  Original Sterling Type 1 USN PH, Officially and Beautifully Hand Engraved with the typical flourishes "Floy D. Muse / S1c, / USNR." on Gilt Split Wrap Brooch, in Clean WWII Purple Case.  Medal has obvious signs of age and oxidation.  Includes Inner Shipping Box, Original Roosevelt Accolade, and PH Certificate with a 4x6 Photo in uniform.  Seaman 1st Class Muse was lost on a U.S. Army Transport in May 1943 and Presumed Dead.  He is Memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing at East Coast Memorial in NYC.  Copy Research included. Posthumous USS Cabot (Aircraft Carrier) U.S. Navy Crewman Purple Heart Medal with Certificate & Accolade:  Original Type 2 USN PH, Officially and Beautifully Hand Engraved with the typical flourishes "Robert R. / Metz / S2c, / USNR" on Gilt Full Wrap Brooch, in WWII Type II Short Titled Case.  Medal is in Near-Mint Condition with only minor signs of age and oxidation.  Includes Original Roosevelt Accolade and PH Certificate.  Seaman 2nd Class Metz was lost on November 25th, 1944 when ship was hit by Japanese Kamikaze off Luzon.  Copy Research included. Early WWII Numbered and Cased Army Purple Heart:  Nice clean 1942 Rex Products numbered "213285" strike, with lacquered center, on a slot brooch.  Excellent condition, with some minor oxidation to brooch, and other very subtle and typical signs of age. (Inquire)

WWII/Korea Boxed Purple Heart Gold Star Button "Mother's Pin":  Original Next of Kin Purple Heart Lapel Button.  Authorized in 1947 for issue to next of kin for service men and women, retroactive from WWI and later, who were killed in action.  Mint Condition, in original satin lined box, with some very minor signs of age after 55+ years.  Un-Initialed, and as such an un-issued original pin back.  Issued in addition to the PH Medal to Mothers, Wives, Next-of-Kin in Honor of the loss of their family member.  These are from the Original stock of badges that were made after the end of World War Two, and of High Quality manufacture.  Issued in Honor of any United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air Force: Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Armed Forces Women lost in the service of this country.
