Spanish American War Army Ribbon Bar:  Very Nice early, professionally hand made, ribbon bar.  This was custom made in all probability by an outfit such as Bailey, Banks, & Biddle.  Heavy open-hook pin back mount with period original ribbon material.  Three (3) Place Ribbon Bar comprised of the 2nd Style Army Spanish Campaign, Army of Cuban Occupation, and Society of the Army of Santiago.  Most likely done around, or just after, World War One period for a United States Army Officer.  EF+ condition, with only slight hints of wear.

WWII-Occupation Ribbon Pad to Major General Donald C. Grant:  Thirteen (13) Place 1950's German Made Ribbon Pad, done in woven cotton threads on an Army Green cotton backed base.  United States Army Medals and Decorations represented are:  Silver Star (GO15, 1943 34th Inf. Div.), Bronze Star, Army Commendation, American Defense Service Medal (ADSM), American Campaign (AMC), European North African Campaign with Six Stars (ETO), World War Two Victory, Army of Occupation, National Defense Service (NDSM), Armed Forces Reserve with 2 Hourglass Devises (30 years Total Reserve Service), and Minnesota National Guard Awards: MN Medal of Merit,  MN Commendation Medal, MN Service Medal.  Mint condition, coming out of the General's estate after his passing, and includes a clipping from that sale.  Grant was a longtime 34th Division Soldier, serving in North Africa through Italy during WWII, and Commander of the converted 47th Division in the 1960's. Outstanding WWII-Korean War Ribbon Pad & Insignia Group:  

Outstanding WWII-Korean War Ribbon/2nd Award CIB Pad:  Ten (10) Place 1950's Asian Made (Most Likely Japanese) Ribbon Pad, done in woven cotton threads (does NOT glow under black light) with Hand Made Embroidered Devises and Hand Made Bullion 2nd Award Combat Infantry Badge (CIB).  United States Army Medals and Decorations represented are:  Silver Star w/OLC, Bronze Star w/Valor "V" and Three OLCs, Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, American Defense Service Medal (ADSM), American Campaign (AMC), Asiatic-Pacific Campaign with Arrowhead and Three Stars (APC), Korean Service with 2 Stars, World War Two Victory, Army of Occupation, and Philippine Liberation with Three Stars.  Most likely done during the Korean War (Pre-1953), as there are no NDSM or UN Korea Ribbons, and the base material is the Pre-1955/WWII Era "Chocolate" wool.  Signs of wear, use, and removal from uniform, but solid condition.  A Great Period Ribbon Pad to a serious combat veteran. (SOLD)

USMC WWII-Korean War Enlisted Ribbon Pad:  Eleven (11) Place 1950's Made Asian Made (Most Likely Japanese) Ribbon Pad, done in woven cotton threads (does NOT glow under black light) with Hand Made Embroidered Cotton/or Silk and Bullion Devises .  United States Marine Corps Medals and Decorations represented are: USN/USMC Presidential Unit Citation with Star, USMC Good Conduct with Three Stars, American Defense Service Medal (ADSM), American Campaign Medal (AMC), Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal (APC), Navy Occupation, National Defense Service Medal (NDSM), Korean Service Medal with Four Stars, United Nations Korea Medal, and Korean Presidential Unit Citation.  This pad was made for an enlisted Marine that came into the service during WWII, and saw extensive combat in the Korean War.  Very nicely made on a Forest Green Service Dress wool base, and fastened to uniform with four integrated clutch posts.  A very well made and attractive pad. Theater Made in Germany WWII-Occupation Era Ribbon Pad in Lucite:  Unusual German Made Occupation Era 4 Place Ribbon Pad:  Nice clean theater made ribbons block for WWII Era U.S. Veteran.  Four Place Custom made uniform ribbons for Enlisted United States Army Soldier, all Hand Painted on Lucite / Clear Plastic Base, with Clutch Back Posts and Flat WW2 Period Clutches.  Order of Medals: U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal, European Theater of Operations Campaign Medal, World War Two Victory Medal, W.W.II Army of Occupation.  United States of America Decorations, Medals, Awards.  An interesting Pad, Theatre-Made in Germany, and in Excellent Condition... Korean War "Experimental" Ribbon Pad:  Five (5) Place 1950's Made Plastic Prism Ribbon Pad, done in Domed Plastic with inlaid ribbon material.  United States Army Medals and Decorations represented are: Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct, Army of Occupation, Korean Service with 1 Star, and United Nations Korea.  This style was only seen for a short period during the Korean War, and was a creative experiment during a period where many different insignia designs and configurations were tried.
