Early Naval Aviator Wing, Medal, Insignia Group: Includes an Exceptional Original Gold Pilot Wing engraved to W.A. Chapman, Naval Aviator No.638 and his Original WW1 Era Pilot ID. (View/Inquire) WWI Style Pilot Wing: Nice Shreve & Co. Aviator Badge. W.W.I Era, Full Size 3.5" PB Wing, marked "SHREVE & CO" and "STERLING". Looks to be primarily a two piece construction, with applied US. Hinge and Pin look to be original, but the catch is most likely a repair replacement. A Rare Badge. (SOLD)
RARE 14K BB&B Marine Officer's Naval Aviator Wing: Exceptional Original Gold Pilot Wing engraved to General W.O. Brice. (View/Inquire)
Go to WWII Aviation Groups for some other outstanding wings. WWII Luxenberg Pilot, 2nd Pattern: Very Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Service Pilot Wing by Luxenberg, PB, Sterling. Hallmarked: "Luxenberg / New York / Sterling". These are rarer to find than the 1st or the 3rd pattern according to most sources I have talked with. (SOLD) WWII Service Pilot: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Service Pilot Wing by Balfour, PB, Marked "LGB" "STERLING". (SOLD) WWII AAF Bombardier by A.E. Co.: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Bombardier Wing by A.E. Co. Utica N.Y., PB, Sterling. (SOLD) WWII AAF Navigator: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Navigator Wing. Raised "Sterling" Marked with period Pin and Hinge construction. This is a nice wartime USAAF Aviation Badge, with a great original patina. WWII "Robbins" AAF Pilot: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Heavy "Graduation Pattern" Pilot Wing. Marked "ROBBINS CO / ATTLEBORO" with Solid Pin and Hinge construction. This is a nice early wartime, or possibly Pre-War USAAF Aviation Badge, with solid original patina, and typical signs or age and use. WWII AAF Pilot: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Heavy "Graduation Pattern" Pilot Wing. Raised "Sterling" Marked with Solid Pin and Hinge construction. This is a nice wartime USAAF Aviation Badge, with solid original patina. WWII AAF Pilot: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps "Graduation Pattern" Pilot Wing. Raised "Sterling" Marked Pin and Hinge construction. Another nice clean wartime USAAF Aviation Badge. (Inquire) WWII Glider Pilot: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Glider Pilot Wing. Raised "Sterling" & "AE.CO. Utica N.Y" Marked, early clutch back, struck in standard issue pattern. This is a Very Nice and clean wartime USAAF Aviation Badge. (SOLD) WWII Snowflake Pilot: Nice EARLY W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Pilot Officer Wing. This early clutch back, with early snowflake back and no other marking. This is a nice clean wartime USAAF Aviation Badge struck from a 1930’s pattern die. GREAT Wing! (SOLD) WWII Amcraft Pilot: Nice clean W.W.II Era, Full Size (3”), United States Army Air Corps Pilot Officer Wing. Pin back, marked "Amcraft Attleboro Mass Sterling". This is a nice clean wartime USAAF Aviation Badge. (Inquire) WWII Juarez Bombardier: This is a Outstanding World War Two Era USAAF Juarez Pattern Bombardier Wing. A Nice Genuine “STERLING” hallmarked badge, with the complete pin back assembly. (These are typically missing the small Rotator on the Pin Catch.) The “Juarez” tag comes from the original design (Wing Pattern), which was produced across the border in Mexico. We had a high concentration of Air Force Training Bases in the Southwest during W.W. II. It became a popular pattern due to the fairly unique broad wingspan. This is a cleanly struck, full size (3-1/4”) wing, that has honest signs of age, but only slight signs of use/wear. Another great United States Army Air Forces (A.A.F.) Wing that is uncommon, and in this condition, would be very difficult to upgrade. (SOLD) WWII Amico Bombardier: Nice Clutch back Sterling wing. (SOLD) WWII Bullion North African or Italian Made AAF Air Crew: Nice W.W.II Era, Full Size (3-1/4”), United States Army Air Corps Air Crew Wing made in theater. (SOLD) WWII CAA Pilot Wing: MINTY Original WWII Era CAA (Civil Aeronautics Administration) Pilot Wing! Beautiful CAA War Training Service wing marked “Pat. Pend.” and “STERLING”. All original pin back, Full Size, 3”Aviation Insignia. (SOLD) UNUSUAL WWII U.S.A.A.F. Sterling Wing!: Unauthorized United States Army Air Forces Wing. I have only seen a couple of these, and it is my understanding that it is some kind of unofficial insignia that the aircrew and pilots were playing around with. Good Condition, “Sterling” marked, pin back badge, with some wear to the highpoints. It is clearly a WWII period metal uniform devise, that is a bit large for a sweetheart pin, at 2.75”, but this is obviously possible as well. There is also a Naval Aviation equivalent, with an Anchor and USN vs. the Army Crest, that is shown in the book “Navy Wings of Gold”. I am not sure if this could also be some kind of Aviation Award or Qualification Badge. ($75) WWII "H&H" Naval Flight Surgeon: Full Size (2-3/4") Pin back, Hilborn-Hamburger marked "H-H Star/Eagle Logo | STERL | +1/20 10K". Minor oxidation and very light wear, with a great old patina. VERY Nice and Rare Period Wing. (Inquire) WWII "Vanguard" OS Size Naval Flight Surgeon: Overseas Hat Size (1-1/2") Pin back, Vanguard hallmarked "Vanguard | N.Y.", in what looks to be Sterling Gilt (Although not marked...). Typical oxidation and light wear, with a great old patina. Nice Period Wing. (eBay) WWII H&H Naval Aviator: Full Size (2-3/4") Distinctive H&H Pin back, marked with Hilborn-Hamburger Star/Eagle and "STER. +1/20 10K". Nice Period Wing. WWII Amico Naval Aviator: Full Size (2-3/4") Clutch back, marked "1/20 10K GonS". Minor Oxidation and a great old patina. Nice Period Wing. WWII Balfour Naval Aviator: Full Size (2-3/4") Pin back, marked "1/20 10K G.F." & "Balfour" Nice Period Wing, and in Mint Condition. WWII Vanguard Naval Aviator: Full Size (2-3/4") Pin back, marked "Vanguard N.Y." Late Period, Hollow Back Wing, in Excellent Condition.
